Texas.

Church, 1304 NE 23 rd St, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067. Pastor Larry Lynch will preside.
Kenny Don was born in Fort Worth to David D Miller and Alice Jeanne Engleman on August 10, 1945. He
attended school at Paschal High in Fort Worth. He went into the Navy for a short time and came home
to work the family business at Miller Maid Kitchens in Fort Worth where he supervised and led many
crews for installing cabinets and countertops into homes throughout the Metro-plex. To this day, there
is no doubt there are homes with our dad’s and his work still in use. When not working in the cabinet
shop with dad he was busy building his own home or helping out with one of his many friends, he was a
very skilled carpenter and wood-man. He could tell you what any piece of furniture was made of and if it
would last or fall apart in a year.
When not building something or working he enjoyed traveling the great state of Texas, sailing on a
fishing boat in Mexico or car, bus, and plane trips to Utah and Nevada to visit relatives. He enjoyed being
quite the “jet-setter” in his later years, packing his backpack with his medications and he was off to an
adventure. He was a free-spirit and enjoyed new experiences. He loved to create friendships and enjoyed
talking about many different subjects. He was a unique personality.
He loved his family and shared his passion for life with his many grandchildren through his elaborate
stories, sharing his travels and always encouraging a “thumbs up” before you left him.
Kenny Don is preceded in death by his parents, David D and Jeanne Miller, his sister Sandra Campbell
and brother-in-law Ralph Campbell, sister Dian Brewer and son-in-law Tod Kapavik.
